If there is more than one FAMID, that means other surnames are associated to this family and you should research those surnames to see if there your family members were either bought, sold or gifted to another family.

SM_LastName – The Last Name of the Slave Master / Enslaver

SLID – The ID assigned to the African American identified on the 1870 Census
